Robin Rowland is a independent professional photographer, author and producer who lives in Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada.

From September 2003 until March 2010, he was the Photo Editor for CBC News, working for both the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's television and online news divisions.

He now lives in his home town of Kitimat, BC, and photographs rugged natural areas and wildlife as well as northwest regional editorial images.

Robin Rowland has written five books, including three historical investigative non-fiction books on both organized crime and on war crimes.
